On July 28, 2008, Rob went diving off the NC coast near Beaufort. He was diving on a wreck called the Spar, a decommissioned, 180-foot US Coast Guard Cutter. It was sunk in 2004 to serve as an artificial reef. Lying in just over 100 feet of water and typically featuring lots of marine life, it is upright and the top of the wreck is at about 70 feet. The Atlantic Sand Tiger sharks pictured here are probably about 7-8 feet long and followed Rob up from the wreck to the dive boat on his ascent.

Meet the newest member of the Tyson household--Boone!!!!!

| Say "Hello" to Boone!!! Boone came to live with Rob, Margaret, Jax, and Connor on Saturday, June 10th, 2006. According to the people they got him from, the then 10-week old Boone's mom was a lab and his dad was a shepherd. They adopted him from the Wilson County Humane Society via a visit to PetsMart. While they had hoped to wait until after the move into their new home, Boone stole Rob's heart and that was that!!! Welcome to the family, Boone. | ||
